Returns and Exchange Policy

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return).

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us within 15 days of receiving your order at laura@baileystudio.art with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Custom art work cannot be returned or exchanged unless it gets damaged during shipping. If shipped, insurance will be added to the package. Every customer receives a draft of the artwork for approval before it is made completely.

Meet Laura

I’ve been a creative soul for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Costa Rica, I spent my childhood making things by hand—knitting, sewing, and crafting with my mother. Our home sparkled with handmade decorations, foam deer with glittering antlers, and the love we poured into every detail. I learned early on that art is more than the final product—it’s a language of love, intention, and presence.

Years later, as a working mom raising a neurodiverse child, I found myself depleted—giving to everyone else while neglecting the woman I was becoming. It was in that space of burnout that I returned to art. I needed it to heal, to ground, and to remember who I really was.

That journey birthed HummingBy.

Why This Work Matters

HummingBy is my heart work. Every journal prompt, angel painting, and blooming flower is infused with the belief that women deserve spaces to feel whole. I don’t just make art—I make tools for transformation. Because we all need sacred moments to recharge, realign, and reclaim our joy.

My Style & Soul

My whimsical folk art features gentle angels, intuitive animals, and blooming botanicals—each symbol chosen with purpose. Folk art speaks to me because it celebrates imperfection, honesty, and soulful storytelling. I believe we all carry quiet wisdom within us—I just paint to help you hear it again.

Our Community

HummingBy is a creative refuge, a gathering place for women ready to honor their inner voice. I call myself a “Soulwhisper” because I believe we all have that quiet knowing inside. Here, you’ll find gentle reminders to listen, trust, and grow—with others walking a similar path.

My move to Snohomish, Washington, was a leap toward that vision—a slower life, surrounded by nature and authentic connection. And from this rooted place, I continue to create offerings that nourish the spirit and uplift everyday living.
